Used Chevrolet Malibu for Sale in Baltimore, MD

I have logged over 100k miles in my Chevy Malibu, and it has served me well over the past ten years. The interior is nice, seats are comfortable, and it still runs pretty well. Feels like you are in complete control when driving the car. I have had several issues over the years regarding several spark plugs needing to be changed, etc., but I drive this car a lot, logging 100k+ miles in 8-9 years. The gas mileage has severely degraded in my 7th or 8th year of owning my car. I would say driving 20-40 miles takes up a quarter tank of gas.

I liked the way the car handled overall, however there were a few re-occurring problems that were agitating. As with most Chevy's the engine had a tendency to run hot after a few years. Also, I replaced a pass lock switch 2 times in the span of a year.

I have had this car for 8 years now. I have used it both for long trips and for heavy commuting. For several years, I commuted between Washington DC and Baltimore MD for work, which was very rough driving. The vehicle has performed well. The only maintenance issues were a result of my own negligence (neglecting to change the breaks resulting in issues with rotors/calipers). The vehicle got fairly good gas mileage. The traction control makes it a fairly useful car in the winter. GM's audio system is great, and OnStar is a great program to have in a vehicle. Some of the things that could be improved are the power; newer four cylinder engines are producing a lot more than the 180 horsepower. Also, the trunk lid opening is very small compared to the volume of the trunk. There's a lot of storage in there, but it's hard to get moderately sized objects or larger into the vehicle, so the storage space isn't used as well as it could be. I did like the tap shift, especially in the mountains it makes it easy to drive the vehicle almost like a manual.
