Pleased
I have a red 2004 Dodge Ram 2 wheel drive. It is very sporty looking and has plenty of space in the cab. Don't need a king cab. The gas mileage could be better, but that is to be expected with a truck. I haven't had any major issues with it besides the rear-end going out at 151,000 miles. The motor is still very powerful and doesn't leak oil anywhere. Rides very good and is very comfortable. It is very easy to work on. I can change my own oil - it takes 7 quarts. One thing I would get on future vehicles is power windows, since mine are manual and very aggravating. The pulling power is very good on this vehicle. It hauls my 26 foot boat with ease. Also the transmission seems to be very strong. It still has the original motor and transmission. Neither has been re-built. The bed of the truck is very spacious and the truck doesn't have any rust spots on it anywhere. The price I paid for it was a very good value for me. I would recommend the Dodge Ram with the Hemi engine to anyone.

Pickup with luxury features.
My vehicle is a 2016 RAM 1500 Eco Diesel. I have zero issues with the truck through the first 22,000 miles. The 3.0L diesel engine provides plenty of torque and acceleration. I purchased the 4x4 Outdoorsman package. I get better than advertised fuel economy, almost 27 miles per gallon on the highway. Even though this vehicle was purchased as a work truck, it has many luxury features. The interior has rear A/C vents for backseat passengers. There is a small, always-on light that illuminates items in the center console at night. I love that it has a 110 volt A/C outlet inside. The only major downside of this truck for me is the lack of factory running boards.

Not that great
I bought the Dodge Ram because I wanted to have a pickup, and the one I really preferred, the Toyota Tundra, was too expensive. So I settled for the Dodge because it was available at a much cheaper price than the Toyota. It was a short bed, two-door cab with only the limited bench seat (no second row), a two-tone blue and gray. It came with the 5.2L engine, which at the time was okay because gas prices weren't too bad for the time. It was pretty dependable for the first three years, but once it passed 150k miles, it started having problems. It was in the shop multiple times for various problems, all having to do with the engine. Tranny was fine, and everything else mechanical was okay. Also, the paint job started to peel by the second year I owned it. Within a year, the hood and entire front looked wretched.
