Great family car
After totaling my vehicle at the time, I had to do the dreaded car shopping! This car appealed to me because of the sporty look, but it was still very roomy. I commute a lot for work and travel for my children's sports, so gas mileage was definitely on my mind. While the average is a little higher, I get about 30 miles to the gallon. In two short years, I have already put 60k on the car. There are no rattles or anything that has gone wrong with the car. The air conditioner is to notch, and I love the touch radio. There is plenty of room for my children and all their stuff they think they need on a car ride. The internet options are great as well as the OnStar feature.

The car that just keeps going.
This car has been the most exceptionally durable vehicle I've ever owned. Purchased in 2003, it's still going strong in 2017, and has required very few repairs in that long 14 years. It's a powerful enough vehicle for New England winters, and offers greater-than-usual control on the snow and ice. The engine has run smoothly every day for 14 years, with only minimal maintenance. The AC and heat are the most powerful I've ever experienced; the car warms up almost instantly (unusual for such a large sedan) and cools down rapidly in the summertime. Fuel consumption is about average. Probably better than most cars of 2003, and the electrical system has worked flawlessly. The body itself, while shiny and reluctant to dent, is rather clunky, lacking the sleek lines of other Chevy models.

Good as my back up car
I like the way the car drives. It was actually given to me as a gift from an elderly relative who could no longer drive so this car would not have been my first choice had I been purchasing it for myself. However, I have driven it a lot and it rides smooth. I like the way the radio has the stations lit up so I just click on them. I like the sun roof. The only issue I have is that the trunk sometimes will not open with the key fob and there is no keyhole to open it manually. So, when it won't open I am stuck so I rarely put things in the trunk.
