Subaru Outback Denver, CO OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS

A great car for what you need it for.
I recently got this car from a friend of mine that told me he was going to get a new car. I love buying cheap cars and keeping them around for different driving experiences so this was cool to me. I think that this car is a pretty sufficient one for what it is made for. I would probably recommend this car to anyone that is looking to camp.

Great mountain vehicle
It is a great vehicle for mountain and harsh, rugged snowy weather driving when you really need it. It has a great look and runs great after 15 years. Only problems would be map sensor and electronic issues after 50,000 miles. It's an easy to park midsize vehicle with plenty of space. It looks very sporty for an older model.

High maintenance vehicle
This Subaru Outback is a sedan model, which has a sporty look similar to a Lexus sedan at the time. Unfortunately, the car has had just about every part replaced and it's only at 120K miles. The paint job didn't hold up well in Colorado winters and it had to be repainted around 50K. It is good on snow and ice and the heated seats have held up well - a real plus in the winter. The interior held up well but the CD player stopped working around 80K. Despite the repainting there has been little problems with rust and the exterior still looks reasonably good. The sunroof has never leaked and still functions properly, though it was rarely used. I have had to buy new keys and they're difficult to get to work properly. The trunk latch gave out recently and parts were unavailable so they had to be taken from a junker. The spoiler cracked early on and had to be removed from the vehicle around 90K miles. It's turning radius is not great, so sharp turns are not easy to make. The interior is not as quiet as it could be though not too bad.

It was easy to buy a car, wasn't getting ripped off. The car needed brakes and tires but other than that was high miles and in great shape.

Clean facilities with so many different Subaru models to test out. Had lots of advice for first time buyers and patience! Very thorough in explaining the financing and paperwork and even though they didn't have the right color car we wanted, they worked hard to find the right one in the area and bring it to the dealership. Threw in some all weather mats since they didn't have exactly what we were looking for.
